Christmas Break Info

Well, Christmas Break is FINALLY here! Hopefully you all have a great break from school. The schedule for this next week is a little different so make sure you know what’s going on.

There is NO program on Tuesday, Dec. 25th or Thursday, Dec. 27th as well as Jan. 1st, 2008!!

There will be Chill Day on Thursday, Dec. 27th from 11am-3pm so make sure you call in to the rides line soon because we have limited seating. The first 10 kids to call in will be able to come. We have some burritos donated from Chipotle of Chanhassen and we are trying to get some food donated from Qudoba too! You don’t want to miss this awesome time of hanging out, eating good food, and playing games! If we have good weather we might even get the sledding hill iced down and running! Call 952.368.2813 and leave your name and number on the rides line for Chill Day!

For those of you who are doing on Winter Blast there are a few things you need to know.

1. Your money needs to be turned into Dan on Chill Day or Jan. 3rd Game Night. If you have questions about how much you owe email him at dschmoyer@treehouseyouth.org or call and leave a message on his answering machine at TreeHouse.

2. You MUST have all THREE of the permission slips signed and completely filled out and turned in to Dan on Chill Day or Jan. 3rd Game Night. If Dan does not have your permission slips by Jan. 4th you will not be able to go on the retreat. This is the most important thing you need for the retreat. 

3. Each permission slip packet has a packing list on it. Make sure you bring your packed bags on Game Night (Jan. 3rd). Your bags will be loaded into the trailer on Friday morning (Jan. 4th) so make sure you have all your things loaded and packed and brought to TreeHouse the evening before.

4. Guys: There are still a few more spots open for you guys to come! If you are interested in coming call Dan @ 763.355.4601 and we’ll talk about any scholarship money you may need.

WINTER BLAST!!!!!

January 4th, 2008 is coming soon and we only have a few spots left for Winter Blast so make sure you get your name on the list and bring the $20 deposit to save your spot. Right now we have a full list BUT not everyone on the list has brought their deposit. If you come with the $20 and we have an open spot, IT IS YOURS!!!! The rest of the money is due by the trip date (Jan. 4-6) so make sure you continue to ask your family and friends for $ for Christmas so you can go on the Winter Blast Retreat.

Back Again!

We’re back again! We hope you had a great Thanksgiving with your family and friends. Hopefully going back to school won’t be so hard after the long break.

We are back to our regular schedule this week. Hopefully we’ll see you all on Tuesday and Thursday night!

TreeHouse This Week

We are still having Support Group tonight (Tuesday) so make sure you call in before 5pm @ 952.368.2813 Ex. 1 for a ride! With Thanksgiving coming quickly we want to remind you that TreeHouse will NOT be having program on Thursday night. The office will also be closed on Friday the 23rd.

World Kindness Week!

This week Chaska is participating in World Kindness Week! The schedule of events for the week is as follows:

Monday: Baking Cookies for local fire department in Chaska 3pm-6pm

Wednesday: Yard work for an elderly couple in Carver 3pm-5:30pm

Friday: Work at Feed My Starving Children in Chanhassen 6pm-7:30pm

Call in to TH (952.368.2813) before each events starts for a ride and to let us know how many are coming. Some of the service projects have limited numbers so you’ll need to make sure you get your name in early.
